Best. Day. Ever.

Yesterday, Michelle came to visit.
We bought some passionfruit juice and a frozen pizza, baked it up, pulled out the sofa-bed, and watched Ninja Turtles (the first two).
Her idea. I have the best girlfriend ever.

Then as she was about to leave, her parents called to tell her that they didn't like the idea of her driving home late (it wasn't that late, even--it was quarter to ten).
So, at her parents' suggestion, she stayed the night and we watched The Science of Sleep.

(contented sigh)
Lord, thank you for your blessings.

Eesh, this is probably not going to make me popular but I'm going to say it anyways - be careful what you see as a blessing, and how you use it.

While it sounds like you are definitely in a great place right now, familiarity and love can make it hard to judge what is right and what is wrong, in this time.

Accountability. Accountability. Accountability. Don't let the lines become fuzzy, but remember what your morals are and how you are supposed to be acting in what is I'm sure a wonderful and great relationship.

Just make sure you keep it a relationship full of integrity and Christ, and don't allow yourself to get into muddied waters.

Don't I know it. I've made a lot of mistakes and know how fuzzy things can be. It's something we talk about very often to identify and reidentify our boundaries. Christ and integrity is the name of the game, my brother.

Thanks for your words.

P.s. how did you find my blog, anyway?

I think I clicked on one of the links in my profile to find similar matches. It may have even been for "Jesus." Either way, I've been following you for quite sometime. Always good to hear new updates.

Again, I don't mean to come off as heavy-handed but you have to hear me here, and I think you do. I just know stuff like spending the night can get out of hand incredibly quickly. I know I don't want to leave those kind of decisions in my own hands, and personally I just try and get as far away from that kind of situation as possible.

Glad and relieved to hear your response!

Yeah. We had a talk even earlier that day about how to keep honoring each other. We know how dangerous it can be--so we're extra careful.
